Malongo Peru Roasted Coffee Bean
Finely acidic coffee, very pleasant, with a moderate body. It presents pleasant chocolate notes, which will go perfectly with chocolate desserts or spicy desserts.
The coffee comes from a cooperative founded in 1970 by five cooperatives who joined together to export their coffee directly, obtain better prices and share costs. Today, it brings together 8 cooperatives and more than 4,500 producers belonging to the Aymara and Quechua ethnic groups.
The farms are mainly located in mountainous areas, in the shade of the forest where coffee trees rub shoulders with banana trees. Today, the country is one of the major players in the export of fair trade coffee.
