Malongo Jamaica Blue Mountain Ground Coffee
Grown on the highest plateaus of Jamaica, Blue Mountain is a very rare arabica of extreme refinement.
Superbly scented, barely acidic, it is a sweet, very fine coffee, with delicate aroma that only a privileged few can still taste today. Its balance is perfect.
Blue Mountain is the only coffee exported in wooden barrels. Formerly, Jamaican exporters reused the barrels used to age the rum: the wood in contact with the coffee gave it a very special aroma. Today the barrels have not been used for this purpose, but by tradition this practice has been retained.
